Application:
Generally used in treads, hoses, conveyor belts, shoe soles, etc.
Properties:
The curing accelerator YLSCH-RBB CBS-80 provides a considerably long scorch time,
great processing safety and a fast full cure.
YLSCH-RBB CBS-80 is used as a sole accelerator for the low sulphur vulcanization or in
combina- tion with dithiocarbamate or thiuram accelerators.
The vulcanizates obtained have goode ageing resistance and a good compression set.
The scorch time of mixes containing YLSCH-RBB CBS-80 in combination with thiuram and
dithiocarbamate is noticeably reduced.
Thiourea has a strong secondary acceleration effect on YLSCH-RBB CBS-80, mainly in mixes
containing little sulphur.
In compounds which are accelerated with mercaptanes and thiu- rams, YLSCH-RBB CBS-
80 may delay scorch.
Dosage:
For NR:primary accelerator:
0.5-1.0phr with 2.5-3.5phr sulfur;
For SBR: 1.0-1.5phr combine with
0-0.2 thiurams accelerators and
1.5-2.5phr sulfur.
