YLSCH-RBB®TMTD-80 is an accelerator for the very rapid but scorch-safe vulcanization of natural- and synthetic rubbers. It is used as a primary accelerator in combination with sulfur, as a secondary accelerator in conjunction with thiazoles and as a curing agent without sulfur. It provides good ageing property and contains ethylene propylene diene rubber (EPDM) as a binder. It finds application in heat resistant mechanical rubber components, ebonite, cable coverings and insulation.
