PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: YLSCH-RBB®ZnO-80 is a curing activator for natural-and synthetic rubber, particularly chloroprene rubber. It also used as multi-purpose curing activator, especially in the presence of fatty acids for tires. It provides smoother profiles in products, due to of its homogeneous dispersion. It improves elongation at break and slight increase in modulus and tensile strength. It contains ethylene propylene diene rubber as a binder. Recommended dosage level of YLSCH-RBB® ZnO-80 is 3-8 phr. It has a shelf life of 2 years.

Processing:

YLSCH-RBB® ZnO-80 is ideal to handle; the granules do not cake during normal storage conditions, they are free flowing and non-dusting.

Its affinity to rubber speeds up incorporation, resulting in homogeneous dispersion of the zinc oxide, free from agglomerates.

Effective and rapid dispersion of  YLSCH-RBB® ZnO-80 is proved by reduced energy consumption during the mixing process.

YLSCH-RBB® ZnO-80 prevents the heatswell which normally occurs when powdered zinc oxide is used in CR mixes.

Application: multi-purpose curing activator, particulary in the presence of fatty acids.
