PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: YLSCH-RBB® Resorcinol-80/EPR is a polymeric dispersion of Resorcinol (1,3-Dihydroxybenzene). Resorcinol is typically used with hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) or other methylene donors along with silica to make rubber-to-fabric adhesion possible. Resorcinol flakes or powder require high temperatures to achieve good dispersion. The masterbatch form allows lower temperature addition, reducing sublimation and improving adhesion.
Normal dosage for fabric adhesion is 2.4-3.0 PHR active resorcinol along with 1.6 PHR active HMT.

Composition: 80 % resorcinol 20 % elastomeric binder and dispersing agents
Appearance:off-white to brown granules (color may vary due to raw materials)
Density,20°C: approx.1.2g/cm3
Processing: The predispersion of Resorcin in an elastomeric binder allows a quick absorption and excellent dispersion in rubber. In this way, optimal activity of the resorcinol is assured.
Application: Tires and technical rubber goods, e.g., conveyor belts, raw-edge V-belts, round belts, fire hose, other reinforced hoses, flexible containers, fabric proofings
