Medical latex products include medical gloves, latex threads or tapes on medical products, medical rubber stoppers, medical latex tubes, etc., and the accelerators in rubber additives are ZDEC (ZDC, EZ), ZDBC (BZ), ZMBT (MZ) It is one of the commonly used raw materials for medical latex products, and it is also one of the few products used in medical latex products in rubber additives with a large amount!

As one of the commonly used raw materials in medical latex products, accelerators ZDEC, ZDBC, and ZMBT benefited from the rapid development of medical latex products at home and abroad, and have gradually increased since 2003. After the continuous optimization of several small-variety production plants of rubber additives in China, it has realized the replacement of foreign products, and now the product quality has been recognized by customers at home and abroad. Here are three kinds of accelerators, as follows:
(1) ZDEC (ZDC, EZ), zinc diethyldithiocarbamate, CAS number: 14324-55-1.
(2) ZDBC (BZ), zinc di-n-butyl disulfide carbamate, CAS number: 136-23-2.
(3) ZMBT (MZ), the zinc salt of 2-thiol benzothiazole, CAS number: 155-04-4.
The accelerator ZDEC is a super accelerator for natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. It is a representative of zinc dithiocarbamate. It is also a general-purpose accelerator for latex. It is also used as a non-water-soluble accelerator for latex. The stability impact is small. When used as the second accelerator of the thiazole accelerator in the latex, the product obtained has good aging performance. It is suitable for white and bright color products, transparent products, mainly used in the manufacture of medical products, adhesive tapes, and self-vulcanized products.

Accelerator ZDBC is a super accelerator for natural rubber, synthetic rubber and latex. It is commonly used in low-temperature vulcanized glue, and the vulcanization speed is faster than ZDEC and ZDMC. The general dosage is 0.5-2 parts. The latex-containing this product can be used for a week without the phenomenon of early vulcanization. It is a better activator for thiazole accelerators.

The accelerator ZMBT is suitable for NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR, EPDM and latex. Used in latex systems, it has mild activity and is usually used in combination with super accelerators. The critical temperature of vulcanization is relatively high (138°C). It is not easy to produce early vulcanization, and the vulcanization is relatively flat. It is suitable for latex system and has the function of adjusting the viscosity of the system.
